What does it mean to be accountable in your Christian walk?…… To be accountable is to do what is required or expected to justify our actions or decisions; in other words, it is to do what you need to do; to do what is expected for you to do in order to justify and defend decisions and actions as a Christian.
PONDER THIS: If you were the official representative for every Christian, what would they think about Christians? What would they think about God?
As a Christian we have a great responsibility, we have been entrusted with the message of the gospel and we are responsible for how we choose to live our lives. The more we know the greater our responsibility (Lk 12:48)
We are obligated to invest our abilities and resources into the kingdom of God (Lk 19-11-26)
We are responsible to do those things which build up spiritually (1Cor 10:23)
We are obligated to allow Holy Spirit to maintain and control our lives. We are not to be swayed by society and its preferences. (1Cor 6:12, Ro 14:23)
We are accountable Christ…Pray that what we are heard saying, what we are seen doing and where we are seen going always brings honor to Him!
