John 3:16 tells us that our God loved this lost world in such a way that a demonstration of his love was seen through the given of his life. It is awesome to know that those who believe in Him shall never experience eternal death but eternal life.
Now that we have experienced God’s unconditional love, we are obligated to do the same. This love must be displayed not only to our brothers and sisters but to the unbeliever as well.
You and I don’t get to choose who can experience this love because our God has no respect of person, race, or color Romans 2:11.
This is evident by the woman who was caught in adultery in John 8:4 The scribes and the Pharisees wanted her to be stoned to death. Jesus discerned the motives of their hearts and wrote a question that got the Scribes and Pharisees tongue-tied.
“Let he that is amongst you that has not sinned be the first to throw the stone at her”.
Each one of those fellas slipped out so quietly that you could have heard a pen drop.
Jesus compassionately asked, “woman where are your accusers”.
I can imagine the relief, peace, and joy that this woman felt. She went from being given a death sentence to being exonerated. Jesus then tells her “You are free to go but don’t continue in your sin”.
Brothers and Sisters in Christ our goal is love. Let he that thinketh that he stands take heed lest he fall I Corinthians 10:12.
Over the years I have discovered that if I put mercy in the bank when it was time to make a withdrawal, it was available. Perfect love covers a multitude of sins I Peter 4:8. Our Goal is Love!
